INFLUENCES
Introduction
There are many painters and photographers who I enjoy, and many of them are a direct influence on my work. Without surprise, those who I find instructive have landscape, a sense of place, as an integral part of their presentation.
My interest in sharing others' images is both selfish and sharing, as these are images I like to reference myself. And the function of organizing these works helps me to continue study. In conjunction with buildling this resource, I have been taking time to view many of these images in their original state, where possible. I will add notes as the may occur. I am organizing these images in logical categories. This process can be daunting and time consuming, so I plan on relying on the software's ability to collate similar painting schools, locales, periods, styles, etc. to the keyword function. You will see a list of these in each image's information display, the keywords are clickable, and will gather all images in the database using the keyword chosen.
